Corporate finance

Sometimes it becomes necessary, and sometimes it’s just good business, to inject extra money into a company. Therefore Ledger Sparks can help you raise finance.

Typically this will involve preparing a formal business plan (see Business Needs Analysis), which we’ll work with you to produce.

The financial part of the plan will usually be done using Sage Financial Forecasting, a sophisticated programme which provides not only the ability to prepare the Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statements and Balance Sheets, but also to monitor the actual results in the future thus helping you meet your targets.

We’ve also assisted clients in the past with raising additional capital from the issuing of shares, either by a private placing or through Corporate Advisers and Brokers and applying to have the shares traded on Offex.

The mechanisms available to raise finance are:

• Overdraft to finance working capital requirements
• Factoring to improve debt collection and finance increasing debtors
• Business Development loans to meet capital requirements
• Lease finance for vehicles, computers and equipment
